What is St. Nick’s Day, you ask? Saint Nicholas is the legendary patron saint of children or an imaginary being who is thought to bring presents to children at Christmas. To participate in this tradition, place your shoe or empty stocking outside your bedroom door on the night of December 5th. You will then (hopefully) find a gift in it on the morning of December 6th. Do you celebrate St. Nick’s Day?
So how about that free crochet pattern? This mini holiday stocking is very easy and quick to crochet. You can simply make it as a hanging ornament on your tree and/or stuff a mini candy cane or treats inside! You can even make them in different colors for each member of the family.
