Round 7: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts*, rep from * – * around (24)

Round 8: 1 sc in each st around (24)

DO NOT cut the yarn. Continue working on the first and second lobe of the heart.

First Lobe

Note: Work only halfway and in continuous rounds.

Round 9: Ch 1. Work 1 sc in the same st and in the next 11 sts. (12)

Round 10: Skip 12 sts. Working in continuous rounds, 1 sc in the next 12 sts (12)

Round 11: *1 sc in next st, sc2tog in next st*, rep from * – * around (8)

Round 12: Work sc2tog around, sl st in the next st, fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole in the top of the lobe. You may want to leave the tail a little extra long for closing up the middle of the heart when the second lobe is done (4)

Start stuffing with fiberfill, then continue on to the second lobe.

Second Lobe

Round 13: Join yarn with a ch 1 to the first unworked sc. Work 1 sc in same st and in next 11 sts. (12)

Round 14: 1 sc in each st around (12)

Round 15: *1 sc in the next st, sc2tog in next st*, rep from * – * around (8)

Stuff with fiberfill.

Round 16: Work sc2tog around, sl st in the next st, fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole in the top of the lobe.

Referring back to round 12, use the extra long tail to close up any holes in the middle of the heart.

Enjoy! ♥
