Final Fantasy Crochet Moogle
~ free crochet pattern ~

MOOGLE! If you are a Final Fantasy fan, you’ll already know Moogles have appeared in nearly all Final Fantasy game series. This particular Moogle is from the recent March release – Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. There have been many variations of the cute little Moogle, such as cat-like ears, rabbit-like ears, different colored furs and pompoms. This new moogle features bear-like ears and its pompom is surrounded by a crown (…or gear?).

The Moogle I’ve crocheted was inspired by a Moogle cushion I saw on Amazon.com HERE. Instead of a cushion, though, I wanted a little Moogle doll as this was a gift for a Final Fantasy fan who lovessss these Mogs…and so I picked up my hook and started creating Moogle! This is an easy pattern that is suitable for beginners/advanced beginners. It works up quickly and the size can be customized using any hook you prefer. While I’ve written down which hooks I used for my own version – you don’t have to follow the suggested hook sizes, as I’ve just used whatever yarn I had on hand and therefore, whichever hook suitable for that type of yarn.
